Bio

Blending elements of psychedelic-funk, blues, jazz, and progressive rock, Karmic Juggernaut is an overwhelming force of sound. Formed in 2004, the band is based out of Asbury Park, NJ and have performed with many notable names including Umphrey’s McGee, Bernie Worrell, Keller Williams, Marco Benevento, moe., Kung Fu, Screaming Headless Torsos, and many more.  KJ has amassed a reputation over their eleven years for their eclectic taste, musical skills, unique stage performances, and innovative solar-powered recordings using the Sun Lab Studio.

Karmic Juggernaut has won numerous awards in their tenure including “Top Young Band”, “Top Jamband”, “Top Drummer”, and “Top Guitarist” at the Asbury Music Awards as well as “Top NJ Documentary” at the Asbury Film Festival. The band has been featured on PBS’ Driving Jersey Program, Comcast Bands on Demand, and in Relix Magazine among many other publications and programs.

In addition to their work with KJ, the members of the group are involved in a plethora of projects including Cody McCorry’s own We Used To Cut The Grass (occasionally featuring Ike Willis), Homeless Apians, Remember Jones, Emancipation Congregation, Thank You Scientist, Matt Wade Band, Emily Grove, Deathrig, String Bean & The Stalkers, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Swift Technique, Billy Walton Band, Underwater Country Club, and many, many more.
