Trick or Treat MF

Happy Hallowdays!  We recorded a catchy little ditty this week to show our holiday spirit.  It uses naughty words (just like Satan would), so make sure to hide your wee ones. And if you don’t have wee ones, crank it up!

“The Dreams That Stuff Are Made Of” LP Released!

Asbury Park-based psychedelic/progressive rock outfit Karmic Juggernaut has just released their new full-length album, The Dreams That Stuff Are Made Of, a collection of thirteen unique tunes written by the group. Recorded and mixed at The Hangar at the New Jersey Shore, the new album is a departure from the band’s earlier work, featuring new frontman Daimon Santa Maria, keyboardist Jake Hughes, a robust horn section (Joe Gullace & Ian Gray), mallet work by percussionist AJ Merlino, theremin by bassist Cody McCorry, and an array of other instruments. The result is an vintage-inspired album with a postmodern view of psychedelia. This new record draws from an eclectic variety of genres and musical tastes, and touches on topics such as today’s political climate, B-movies, mental illness, and features satirical approaches of contemporary living.

The Dreams That Stuff Are Made Of is available on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, Amazon Music, and Google Play.

New Album To Be Released 6/1/18!

WKRM The Kream Double Feature!  We’re putting out our new full-length record, “The Dreams That Stuff Are Made Of”, June 1st at Langosta Lounge in Asbury Park.  This very same night, our incestuous brethren in Homeless Apians will be also releasing “Humor as a Defensive Mechanism”.  This show is immediately following the Primus performance at the Stone Pony and will cost you nothing to get in!

We have spent the last year working on this album at our studio, The Hangar, in Wall Township, NJ.  It’s your turn to listen.

More details TBA…

IT’S 2018!

It’s officially another mark on the calendar, and we’re still hard at work on the new LP at The Hangar. We promise. In the meantime, you can catch us in January on the 11th at the Wonder Bar for the Light of Day Foundation’s annual freakout, and on Saturday January 19th back at Langosta Lounge.

“Frunobulax” – Live From The Lab

The performance was captured and mixed by Jake at Ruben Subin Productions, with video production by Patrick McManaman and James Duffy from Telefunken.  Many thanks to our T-Funk family (Alan, Ryan, James, and the gang) for continuing to support us.

New Album, New Members, and Beyond

Oh yes. It’s 2017. The dawn of a dark new era on planet Earth. To make that a little more tolerable, we’ve begun tracking a new record at our recording studio, The Hangar. The KJ family has now grown to include Daimon Santa Maria (Bone & Marrow) singing his sweet, sweet heart out and Jake Hughes (Hive Mind) on keys, both of whom will be featured on the album. Keep on the lookout – we will be posting content to keep you up to date on the sounds emanating from our compound in Wall, NJ.

In the meantime, we’ll be playing a hushed set next Monday, March 20th at The Saint in Asbury Park with our buddies in Thank You Scientist and Sentient Moss. Come keep us warm!
